What’s new at Allen & Allen

Welcome to John Allen’s blog. I’ll use this little soapbox to let you know what’s up and where I think things may be headed.
Big changes at our office. Paul Doucette, my former law partner and continuing friend, has joined a small firm in Ajax, Ontario, much closer to his home in Pickering. We stay in touch and I hope he continues to do well.
Margaret Gray, an experienced corporate and estates solicitor, has also joined our offices and will continue her independent practice. It’s wonderful to have her seasoned advice so close at hand.
William Allen, my father, who has been a lawyer since 1954, is still our “senior” partner (he’s 80 now), and he’s still connected from his home computer.
Eileen Barnes, who’s worked with us for many years (I won’t say how many, but it is many) is still working with us, and her wisdom keeps everything running smoothly.
